We are privileged to have 5 boys from Elkanah to Job Shadow our staff at Garner Wafers. With them is Vicky Jacobs (third from right) our newly appointed NPD Manager to take them through all the processes. They are so looking foward to bake Sugar Cones, to Bake Waffles, to lick freshly hot chocolate and then the highlight - to make Ice Cream and EAT IT.
Our factory shop is getting bigger and bigger. Our wonderful Factory Shop Assistant has started a baking corner. Please when you come and visit add your ideas of what you would like to see in here. We also stock a variety of sweets, Ice Cream, Chocolate Dips and Sugar Cones. If you want to present the perfect dessert at your dinner table - please visit the Garner Factory shop at our premises.
THANK YOU to all our wonderful customers and the person in the street buying our sugar cones. Garner Wafers have adopted a policy of employing people. Every time you buy our cone you will know it is a Garner Cone due to the distinctive pink sleeve. Here are some wonderful girls folding the sleeves. We employ three people to fold sleeves (the other girls just wanted to show off!!). So FEEL PROUD, every time you buy a Garner Sugar Cone, you are helping us to employ people. May all of you have a safe and peaceful Christmas and time to spent with the people you love. We are so proud to announce that we have made a Berry Terrine Ice Cream Cake for the Jenny Morris Brand. You can see the photo on the Home Page as well as under Products, Retail Products. The product will be available in Checkers Western Cape in the next week. Follow Jenny Morris on Twitter as she is publishing all Checkers stores that have received stock. The cake is made with sponge base, topped with Double Cream Vanilla Pod Ice Cream, berries, then more ice cream and topped with more berries and Strawberry Sauce. Yummy.

We do have a factory shop on our premise that sells some of our products that is not 110% perfect to go out to our regular customers. The prices are very very good and bearing in mind that we do not always have stock of certain items - as we aim mostly to manufacture perfect product - we do our best to give you the best at the best price. The hours are from 8h30 in the morning until 15h30 Mondays to Fridays. You are welcome to visit us and make any suggestions to help us improve our service to you.
Ah - summer is nearly here. We all cant wait for those warm days, walking on the beach and yes.... eating an ice cream in Garner Sugar Cones. You can recognize our cones in the bright pink sleeves. All our small and medium cones are sold in sleeves which make them very hygienic as hands wont touch the cone when ice cream gets served in it.
